The Jan Długosz Award is a competition that accompanies the International Book Fair in Krakow. The Competition promotes and awards works that make a significant contribution to the development of science and culture, written by a Polish author and published in the year preceding the award of the Prize. Books published by Adam Mickiewicz University Press have been nominated for the Competition many times.
