Using generative AI as part of scientific work

In scientific research, generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) has a wide range of applications and in practically all spheres. It impossible to list all the tasks for which GenAI can be used and new ideas are constantly emerging on how it can support scientific work. However, it is important to remember that the use of GenAI in science poses numerous ethical and legal challenges. Therefore, those working in science must act extremely responsibly in relation to AI-generated material and be transparent in their use of the technology.
