Monografia stanowi autorską próbę podporządkowania rzeczywistości społeczno-kulturowej pedagogice, nieco inaczej rozumianej, niż to ma miejsce w jej potocznym i naukowym odniesieniu. Tak pojęta Pedagogika (pisana z wielkiej litery) jest konceptem filozoficznym, antropologicznym i kulturowym, który na sposób edukacyjny, a więc i kształtujący, decyduje o przemianach, jakie dokonują się w świecie rzeczywistym, określanym jako paideutyczny. Istotnym elementem tak pojętej „światowości” jest człowiek, który w takiej sytuacji jako homo paedagogicus jest stwarzany na sposób pedagogiczny i Pedagogiczny, ale „elementem” aktywnym, samotworzącym się, współprzyczyniającym się do „dziania się dziejów” i samokreacji. Relacyjny związek stawania się istotą ludzką a rzeczywistością paideutyczną polega na tym, że dopełnia się on w kształtowaniu ludzkiej osobowości i ujawnianiu podmiotowości, które składają się na uniwersalne rozumienie pedagogiki jako nauki o „prowadzeniu”, której zadaniem powinno być wszechstronne badanie procesów zachodzących w jednostce ludzkiej pod wpływem czynników wewnętrznych, jak i zewnętrznych, z uwzględnieniem kontekstów historycznych. W tym celu podjęto próbę opracowania podstaw pod pedagogikę wiedzy, dokonano zarysu badania tak swoiście pojętej rzeczywistości poprzez metodę określaną jako fenomenoagologia oraz dokonano pewnych przewartościowań w podejściu do pedagogiki ogólnej, jako tej subdyscypliny, która ma badać podstawy myślenia i działania pedagogicznego.

This monograph is conceptual in character. The basic idea behind it is an attempt to subordinate reality to social and cultural pedagogy, which is understood in a slightly different manner than in its common or scientific sense. Pedagogy, understood in this way (written with a capital letter), is a philosophical, anthropological and cultural concept which is a decisive educational and formative factor in the changes that take place in the real world, which is described as paideutic. A human is an important
element of such conceived "being-in-the-world". In this situation he or she - a homo paedagogicus is created both in a pedagogical and Pedagogical sense, but it is still an active, self-creating "element" which contributes to the "making of history" as well as to self-creation. The exceptionality of humans lies in their natural "endowments" that make them oscillate between being biologically imperfect and pursuing perfection in a rational and pedagogical sense, which has political, economic, religious,
ethical, esthetic and historical consequences.
The relationship between becoming a human being and reality gets complete as a result of forming human personality and revealing its subjectivity. All this causes pedagogy to be universally understood as a science about "leading", whose aim should be to comprehensively study the processes going on in a human being under the influence of both internal and external factors and in the historical context. For this purpose, an attempt was made to lay the foundation for the pedagogy of knowledge and a draft of a study was prepared concerning reality, which is understood in such a specific way, by using a method referred to as phenomenology. Also, the approach to general pedagogy, as a discipline aimed to analyze the foundations of pedagogical thinking and acting, was somewhat redefined.
