Prezentacja badań naukowych prowadzonych na Wydziale Chemii w roku 2000: badania chemiluminescencji w układach chemicznych zawierających jony lantanowców; reakcje kompleksowania i oddziaływania międzycząsteczkowego w układach jonów metali, poliamin i nukleotydów; dynamika powierzchniowa procesów elektrochemicznych w układzie: elektroda monokrystaliczna roztwór elektrolitu; badania spektroskopowe wybranych związków makrocyklicznych; studia nad równowagą między oddziaływaniami wewnątrz- i międzycząsteczkowymi w kryształach molekularnych; opis syntezy nowych modyfikowanych (E)-stilbenów i siarkowych analogów uracylu; badania nad procesem hydrodesulfularyzacji paliw. Publikacja ta oprócz niewątpliwej wartości naukowej ma też walory dydaktyczne.

This volume presents achievements of the Faculty of Chemistry of Adam Mickiewicz University. The variety of projects with which the Faculty members deal shows that they research all the most important disciplines of modern chemistry, The mission of the Faculty, apart from teaching and research is a varied co-operation with inhabitants of Wielkopolska (Great Poland). From what one finds in the subsequent volumes of our journal, they can see that the Faculty has a potential which guarantees realisation of teaching and research goals and tasks formulated in such a way. The main lines of research work conducted by 74 research teams are connected both with basic sciences and applied chemistry. This potential is reflected in the list of more than 300 entries containing shorter publications and monographs, published mostly in well-known and prestigious journals of international renown, as well as patents, licences and implementations. Faculty of Chemistry co-operates with numerous scientific centres and industry at home and abroad.

Książka zawiera część z licznych, ponad 300 komunikatów, materiałów VII Konferencji Naukowej Chemików, zorganizowanej przez wydziały chemii Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu i Politechnikę Poznańską. Zagadnienia obejmują chemię i technologię nieorganiczną, organiczną, chemię analityczną, ochronę środowiska, chemię fizyczną i inżynierię chemiczną, chemię medyczną oraz zagadnienia związane z kształceniem i doskonaleniem kadr.

This book contains works by researchers from Adam Mickiewicz University and from other research centres and contains thought, resukts of research and research or industrial conceptions. An occasion for this integration of the milieu of chemists was the Seventh Scientific Conference of Chemists, organised by the Faculty of Chemistry, Adam Mickiewicz University and by the Faculty of Chemical Technology of the Technicak University of Poznań during which more than 300 hundred short papers were presented of which this book contains only several dozen.. These works deal with problems of inorganic chemistry and technology as well as organic and analytical chemistry, environmental protection, physical chemisrty, chemical engineering, medical chemistry and problems connected with education and further education of professionals in these fields.
