The book presents selected elements of the modern enterprise environment (task and remote) and their relationship with and impact on its functional areas. The authors analyzed issues related to the management of human resources and relations with stakeholders. The provisions relating to corpo¬rate financial reporting, including the European Union directives and the modified set of corporate governance rules are presented in two subsequent parts of the book.

In the monograph are also presented concepts of modern organizational solutions and results of the authors' practical studies in the area of public management. And finally, the impact of the cultural environment on the functioning of business in selected countries is analyzed and its influence on the development of international business examined.
