Książka stanowi pierwsze opublikowane w polskiej literaturze monograficznej opracowanie dotyczące prawa twórcy do wynagrodzenia w ustawie o prawie autorskim i prawach pokrewnych z 4 lutego 1994 r. Analizą objęto następujące zagadnienia: prawo do wynagrodzenia jako element konstruujący definicję autorskich praw majątkowych, prawo twórcy do wynagrodzenia w świetle prawa twórcy do korzystania z utworu i rozporządzania nim na wszystkich polach eksploatacji oraz w aspekcie podmiotu prawa autorskiego, charakter i treść prawa twórcy do wynagrodzenia za korzystanie z utworu, pojęcie wynagrodzenia autorskiego, ustawowe uregulowanie wynagrodzeń autorskich, zwłaszcza w świetle licencji ustawowych i dozwolonego użytku chronionych utworów, prawo do wynagrodzenia w obrocie autorskimi prawami majątkowymi oraz ochronę prawa do wynagrodzenia.

This book is the first published Polish monograph about the author7 s right to remuneration according to the Act of 4 February 1994 on Copyright and Related Rights. The following issues were analyzed: the right to remuneration as an element construing the definition of the author7 s economic rights, the author7 s right to remuneration in light of the author7 s right to use the work and to manage its use throughout all the fields of exploitation as well as in relation to the ownership of the copyright, the content and nature of the author7 s right to remuneration for the use of the work, the concept of the author7 s remuneration, statutory regulation of the author7 s remuneration, especially in light of statutory licenses and the permissible use of protected works, the right to remuneration in relation to trading in the author7 s economic rights, and the protection of the right to remuneration.
