W książce przedstawiono wybrane konteksty myśli filozoficznej i religijnej: duchowej, historycznej, kulturalnej, biograficznej u dziewiętnastowiecznego rosyjskiego filozofa Mikołaja Aleksandrowicza Bierdiajewa, a także konteksty z zagadnieniami antropologii filozoficznej i antropologii teologicznej oraz wskazano cechy prawosławne jego religijnych myśli. Główny wniosek tej pracy to: wśród różnych aspektów relacji personalistycznej człowieka i Boga, tzn. w dziedzinie antropologii teologicznej, można odnaleźć podobieństwa pomiędzy spekulacjami religijnymi Bierdiajewa i teologią prawosławną.

This book presents selected contexts of Russian twentieth-century philosopher Nicolas Alexandrovich Berdyaev's philosophical and religious thought: spiritual, historical, cultural, biographical, the contexts connected with the problems of philosophical anthropology and theological anthropology and Orthodox feature of Berdyaev's religious ideas. The main conclusion of the book is that among different aspects of the personalistic relation of man and God, it means in the field of theological anthropology, one can detect the similarities between Berdyaev's religious speculation and the Orthodox theology.
