This book has enjoyed a great interest of readers. It is used both by scientific workers as well as students of different schools of higher education in Poland. It serves as a handbook for students of mathematics, information science, physics, philosphy and the like, and even to students of the Papal Academy of Theology as part of such subjects as philosophy of mathematics, methodology of sciences, philosophy of science and the like. This is the only publication of its type in Polish literature and one of very few in world literature and is very often cited by many authors and writers.
