Relacje między dydaktyką literatury a dydaktyką języka oraz uwarunkowania odbioru są najważniejszymi zagadnieniami poruszanymi w książce. Wnioski odnoszą się do realizowanych w ramach studiów neofilologicznych zadań dydaktyki literatury i języka w kontekście obcokulturowym. W szczególności dotyczą także kształtowania koncepcji programów i materiałów nauczania oraz przygotowania i pracy nauczycieli i lektorów języków obcych, którzy również są adresatami książki.

This book undertakes the problems of understanding foreign language literary text. The point of departure is the reading of a text as a culhvrally specific act of transfer of information. Relations between teaching literahire and teaching language and conditions of text reception are the most important issues touched upon in this book. Conclusions refer to the tasks of literature and language teaching, carried out within the neophilological studies and in the context of foreiy culture. In particular, they also concern the shaping of the conception of syllabuses and teaching materials and preparation and work of language teachers to whom this book is also addressed.
