Prezentowana publikacja to zaproszenie do dyskursu nad jakością edukacji i przyczynek do zrozumienia istoty transformacji odbywającej się na przestrzeni edukacyjnej. W analizach wielu autorów można uchwycić jakościowe zróżnicowanie podejść do ujęcia problematyki tożsamości jako dyskursywnej praktyki odwołującej się do zagadnień podmiotowości, indywidualizmu, dialogu z „innością”, orientacji temporalnej, sukcesu życiowego czy społecznych konstrukcji tożsamości.

The narration presented in this volume takes into account the sodo-cultural character of the dynamie changes of the sodo-cultural reality and it updates the problem of the dynamies of the complex phenomenon of an identity. The authors of the texts describe and explain the ąuality of the global, cultural ecumene through capturing the constructed ąualities that are possible and always present in the process of creating an identity. The wide speetrum of the described phenomena does not remain without impact on the ąuality of the humanistic discourse undertaken in the work on the naturę of the intellectual conceptualization of pedagogy, whose identity is shaped in the discursive way. The presented volume is also an invitation for a discourse about the ąuality of education and contributions to understanding the naturę of transformation taking place on the educational level. In many authors' analysis one may notice a ąuality diversity of approaches to grasp the issue of identity as a discursive practice referring to the problem of subjectiveness, individualism, the dialogue with "otherness", temporal orientation, success in life and sodal construetions of identity.
