This book is concerned with the general problems of agricultural law. The basis for the author's considerations is a statement that there is the theoretical reflection is needed in this discipline of the science of law. This work contains presentation of factors of development of agricultural law, describes the main tendencies in its development and against this background shows the place of agricultural law in the system of law and transformations of doctrinal conceptions in this area. In the summary the author defines agricultural law as a set of legal norms which regulate agricultural activity and social relations which are closely connected with this activity. The monograph is concluded with considerations concerning the future of agricultural law. Considerations in the field of comparative law found in this book are the result of research carried out by the author during his stay at the Istiruto di Diritto Agrario Internazionale e Comparato in Florence.
