Monografia prezentuje szkic zwartej, całościowej koncepcji podejścia do myślenia o współczesnej rzeczywistości i jej kulturowym modelowaniu. Podstawowa teza pracy sprowadza się do zaproponowania hermeneutycznej koncepcji powszechnej semiozy w ramach jednego superkodu kulturowego kręgu kultury śródziemnomorskiej, sprowadzonego do generalnego archisemu utrwalonego w Biblii i stanowiącego archetyp naszej kultury.

Although it is not the task of this monograph to define the cultural code, it assumes the principle of connectivity of phenomena of various scientific disciplines and consistently assimilates the dominant of the contemporary humanities, which describes literature as pars pro toto of the (spiritual) culture. On the basis of distinguishing factors of the existence of a literary work-epochal thinking of Russians in the 19th century, a multilevel code of the Great Theatre Reform, an immanent endeavour of artistic form of the 20th century at self realisation - this author submits the ultimate interpretative thesis: Dostoevsky's world as a cultural code of the 21st century. The word-"adequate" of the wholeness of the author of The Devils is revealed as a code-vessel. The information which is protected, generated or just being born is identical with the manifestation of form (and the value of energising voidness which accompanies it): the Biblical jug, words with a fissure, Taoist Voidness, valorized angle, spherical word, cosmogonic word, capsules and, finally, the hermeneutic code of repetition in the graphic recording of Heidegger's circle.
