The thematic scope of the journal includes: Romance linguistics and the history of Romance languages, acquisition of Romance languages, research on the literature of Romance-speaking regions, and translation theory. Finally, an issue of frequent recent interest has been cultural research, focused on the presentation of the intellectual and spiritual achievements of the countries where Romance languages are spoken. The topics undertaken are supposed to be more theoretical and research-oriented rather than descriptive or strictly factual.
