In this book wc present an empirical corpus of source data for further rcsearch and applications, in particular for the design of systems with ihe NL competence. More precisely, the objcctive underlying this research is the construclion of user-friendly NL interfaces to data bases. In fact, we focus our attcntion on consultative dialogues involving two participants, information seeker and information giver, ex-changing information about some single-situation-scene.
