Aleksander Wojciech Mikołajczak ORCID Logo

prof. dr hab. Aleksander Wojciech Mikołajczak – filolog klasyczny, profesor na Uniwersytecie im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu. Wieloletni kierownik Pracowni Humanistycznych Studiów Interdyscyplinarnych na Wydziale Filologii Polskiej i Klasycznej. Jego zainteresowania naukowe skupiają się na historii idei, dialogu międzykulturowym oraz nowożytnej recepcji antyku. Autor i współautor kilkunastu książek (m.in. Łacina w kulturze polskiej [1998], Athos. Wzrok Świętej Góry [2021, z Rafałem Dyczykiem], Athos. Słuch Świętej Góry [2022, z Rafałem Dymczykiem]) i kilkudziesięciu artykułów. Redaktor kilkunastu tomów zbiorowych, m.in. Tradycja łacińska i bizantyjska wobec idei jedności europejskiej (2003) oraz Święty Tryfon w kulturze europejskiej (2018).

prof. dr hab. Aleksander Wojciech Mikołajczak – classical philologist, professor at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Longtime head of the Laboratory of Multidisciplinary Individual Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences at the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology. His research interests focus on the history of ideas, intercultural dialogue and the modem reception of Antiquity. Author and co-author of several books and dozens of articles incl. Latin in Polish Culture (1998). Editor of several collective volumes, incl. Latin and Byzantine tradition in the face of the idea of European unity (2003) and The Holy Tryphon in European culture (2018). Co-author of the book Athos. The sense of Sight on the Holy Mount Mountain (2021).
